The only way to appreciate the noise, atmosphere and excitement of a Grand Prix is to go to one - there is no substitute. The British Grand Prix is always a highlight of the season, not only from a patriotic point of view, but also because the Silverstone circuit is one of the few that still encourages aggressive racing. After the rather damp conditions that prevailed in 2000, the 2001 Grand Prix was thankfully moved back to the summer.
