CONSISTENTLY HIGH EVENT STANDARD
We at Templeton understand
just how important it is to our clients that their guests enjoy the
event - we do not have any ‘clever’ sales techniques, but we do
provide what we say we will on the day. We offer our clients
consistency from one event to the next in terms of both level of
service and personnel, and at least one director of the company is
present at every event to ensure that our high standards are
maintained. Templeton are
the best solution for improving and concreting
new and existing major business relationships. |
BAR
Our aim is that none of your guests pay for anything from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave, so a full range of drinks is available throughout the day on a complimentary basis. We also try to ensure that the bar opening times are generous, as we believe that ushering people out at the end of the day after a hurried drink leaves quite the wrong impression.
Therefore we will give you plenty of notice when approaching the bar
closing time and generally speaking I think you will find us more
flexible than most. (See Hostesses & Site Staff). |

HOSTESSES & SITE STAFF
In addition to, and distinct from, the catering staff, you and your guests will
be looked after by our hostesses. They do not work for any other hospitality
companies, and they are there to make sure that our clients and their guests
enjoy the event to the full. For example we do not consider going to the bar to queue for a drink to be enjoyable, so our hostesses will serve drinks to your
table - and we prefer it if they offer you more before you have to ask. |
GUEST CELEBRITIES
We often have celebrities in the hospitality facility to talk to our guests about the event, usually at lunch - whether they are still participating in the sport themselves or have retired, they have all attained international recognition. In addition, sometimes we are also visited after an international rugby match
by some of the players who took part, or perhaps a young golf professional can talk to our guests about the course he has himself just played. |

ITINERARIES etc.
Event documentation with your colour
company logo - it contains the timings for the day, a map of how to
get to the venue and where your hospitality facility is located, the
menu, dress code and our on-site contact number should any of your
guests have difficulties on the day. |
LUNCH etc.
Except where stated, we
provide a silver service luncheon. White wine will be chilled, red
wine will have been allowed to breathe. Decent port and brandy is
served after the meal, in decent measures, and where allowed we will also offer
you
Genuine Havana Cigars. |

HOT POST-MATCH BUFFET
Not only is the post-match meal (afternoon tea for summer events) welcome in itself, it also gives our clients another opportunity to relax and talk to their guests. In fact whilst eating chilli con carne with a few pints, or strawberries and cream with champagne, one can become very relaxed indeed. |
TICKETS
We do our utmost to ensure that our clients have the best view possible of any sporting spectacle. We have years of experience, and except in the case
of brand new events, your tickets or viewing facility is selected by someone who has attended the event before. We are also honest about the options available at any particular time. |

CHAMPAGNE MAGNUM
We provide each table with a magnum of Champagne to use as a sweepstake prize for the guests - with a guaranteed winner on each table, a little more thought is devoted to guessing closest to the score. |
REMY MARTIN
In some cases guests are away from the hospitality facility while they watch the event. Where (legally) possible we give them a little something to help
them over this harrowing time. |

OFFICIAL PROGRAMMES
At many events the guests' enjoyment of the day is greatly enhanced by having programmes, scorecards, orders of play etc - we of course
provide these. |
CAR PARK PASSES
Although we can provide reserved car parking facilities at most events, we usually advise our clients and their guests not to drive on the day so that they can make full use of the complimentary bar. |

SOUVENIR TIES & SCARVES
Not only is it nice for your guests to have a physical memento of the day, we hope that it will also serve as a reminder of who took them. |
TABLE PLACE CARDS
Again personalised
to your company, we provide these, and lay them out according to
your instructions before the guests arrive, so that your hosts sit
next to the right guests at lunch. We are often amazed at how
companies spend considerable amounts of money entertaining guests,
and then leave who sits next to whom to chance (often order of
arrival).
